Siddhartha, a college dropout in early-1970s Calcutta, searches for work amid political tension and shrinking opportunities. Job interviews, family needs, and street encounters push him between pragmatism and unease. The film follows queues, hospital corridors, and late-night debates as he tries to hold to a sense of purpose, stopping short of any final resolution.
